Treasures in Earthen Vessels

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 ( KJV)

The same brother or sister in Christ who needs prayer and support today maybe the same person who God moves through mightily tomorrow.

Never think because someone is having a weak moment or even a difficult season that they cannot rise up in the power of the Lord as a vessel of healing or deliverance for others.

Remember that it was Elijah who contended with the prophets of Baal and then fled in fear when pursued by Jezebel. Strong then fearful. Fearful then strong.

We are all human and yet we carry the divine (this treasure) within us. The excellency of the power ( within us) is of God and not of human flesh. So, despise not that bother or sister who is struggling. Judge not someone else’s sanctification process with God.

The same dear one crying on the phone with you tonight may be casting out devils tomorrow. Remember that you, too, are an earthen vessel.

So, in every season, whether the person is weak or strong, God is in them and will use them for His purposes.
